FDC-Dubai
goes singing
FDC-Dubai
once again proved that they are incredibly talented in singing
as they are in dancing.

Twenty-four
of our members, all clad in the joyous and yuletide colors of
white and red, shed their swanky ballroom dancing outfits and
stiletto shoes in favour of a Santa Claus attire impressively
sang caroling songs during the gala night of the 3rd Environmental
Awareness Photography Contest and Exhibition organised by the
Filipino Lightform Photographers' Guild held at the Falcon Ballroom
of Le Meridien Hotel on December 17, 2004.
Headed by
our Vice-President Connie Paguidopon, the group filled the space
of the grand ballroom and the audience's ears with classic English
Christmas songs such as, Silent Night, O Holy Night and
the much loved and touching Filipino lyrics, Pasko Na, Sinta
Ko.
The carolers
were wildly cheered upon and applauded as they ended their performance,
literally on a high note. Many people were surprise to hear a
well rendered Christmas songs by dance specialists.

Connie said
they've thought of this activity to raise funds for the club -
which has been in existence now for more than eight years - for
their future projects in this coming year of 2005.
“This
is the first project of the new set of officers (2004-2005), who
have just been elected two months ago. Tonight’s performance
is part of the series of our caroling itineraries around Dubai
during this festive season,” Ms VP added.
Finally, the
group showed their great dancing skills when they performed a
salsa ruweda dance before heading to their caroling routine.
